In an attempt to develop Hue as the typical Festival city of Vietnam,
continue and promote the success of 10 Traditional Craft Festival seasons, the People's Committee of Hue city will organize the 11th Hue Traditional Craft Festival themed “The Quintessence of Vietnamese Crafts”.
The 11th Hue Traditional Craft Festival aims to introduce unique products, for example, jewelry, embroidery, painted enamel, bronze casting, Aodai, wood, Zèng textile, ceramic, bamboo-making products, conical hat, paper flowers, painting, lanterns, kites, gastronomy, etc of Hue traditional crafts, craft villages, provinces, cities in Vietnam and overseas. As traditional medicine is one of Hue characteristics, oriental doctors will have a chance to show their talents on this year festival.
Hue Traditional Crafts Festival is an opportunity for artisans to show their talents,
intellects and the quintessence of Vietnamese traditional crafts as well as
create unique products to introduce to the public, far and near tourists.
Through Hue Traditional Crafts Festival 2019, the People's Committee of
Hue city and Festival Organizing Board aim to organize a high-quality, effective event in both national and international scope;
make contribution to introducing, advertising Hue image; promote the trademark and position of Hue - the city of Festival;
contribute to implementing policies of the province, city on recovering,
supporting and developing traditional craft villages and typical handicraft sector.
